Troy Hill, Hills Auctioneering Inc. won the four-state Northwest Auctioneer Championship at the contest held during the annual Washington Auctioneers Convention at Silver Auto Auction in Spokane, WA October 5th.
In addition to the championship plaque and designation, Troy won a $500 cash prize to be used to compete in the National Auctioneers Association championship contest in 2009.
Paul Adams, Northwest Auctions placed 2nd in the championships and Austin Booker, Booker Auction Company, placed 3rd.
Dave Ryckman, Dave Ryckman Auctioneer won the Junior Division championship for auctioneers with three years or less of experience. Second place in the Junior Division went to Josh Houk.
Eleven auctioneers competed in the contest open to auctioneers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. |
